The goal at Sully
Christian School
is to remain distinctively Christian while striving for academic
excellence. Though excellence in
education can be measured in many different ways, one of the most accepted means
is the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills.
Below is the comparison of Sully
Christian School
students’ scores over the past three years.
These scores are the average of our 1st through 8th
grade students in the three subjects most often used to measure academic
success. As you can see, the average Reading
and Math percentile has improved significantly over the past three years, yet
we annually set goals to continue to improve.

Sully
Christian School
has typically scored well as a school on comprehensive exams and our goal is to
continue that high level of achievement.
While academic achievement is important to the staff at SCS,
equally important is our goal to follow our mission statement which says, “The Sully
Christian School, together with the Christian parents and
Society, will provide a quality education that is based on the Word of
God. We will equip our children, through
God’s grace, to be active members of God’s Kingdom.”
